Calendula is part of the sunflower family and has bright yellow petals. It is also anti-fungal and anti-bactrial ,anti-inflammatory, anti-thrombogenic, and antidiabetic.

Interally: calendula is said to help fight cancer by fighting carcinogenic activity. It also helps reduce the cell growth. One often over looked beneft is for yeast infections when made into a strong tea. It also helps with cramps if taken a week before the menstral cycle, and lessons the whole period pain and flow.
Externally : Great for small cuts and wounds as it cleans and helps reduce inflamation. Another great thing this plant can be used for is for diaper rash and eye infections such as pink eye. When people go to radiation therapy one os the side effects is having skin irritations or sensitivity, calendula when made intpo a lotion or rub helps alleviate alot of the pain and irritation.
