The Way to Rainy Mountain is a great piece of work by N. Scott Momaday, in it he has put together a collection of both oral and written traditional stories of the kiowa people. The Kiowa people were a native tribe around the Great Rocky Mountains in and around Oklahoma. N. Scott's book has lasted generations and will hopfully continue much longer, sharing these traditions with the next generation. It is so important to know the history of ones tribe, and never forget who we are and where we have come from.
